Take World Writing Retreat Portugal

September 2024

Start your writing adventure. In Lisbon.

What is it?

The Take World writing retreat in Portugal was founded in 2023. It is a writing retreat for adventurous writers from underrepresented backgrounds. We cater to women and women-identifying creatives for 5 nights and 6 days, twice a year: usually April and September. Each retreat guarantees set writing time in a secluded, gorgeous house, tasty fresh plant-based lunches from a local chef, daily yoga and plenty of fun times, in and around, the magical town of Sintra, 30 mins from Lisbon.
All three of our retreats, so far, have been hugely successful, with talks from authors like Nikesh Shukla, Nicole Dennis-Benn, Abigail Bergstrom and Ore Agbaje-Williams. One attendee has gone on to land a book deal.

Join us from September 4-9 2024 and tackle your writing goals in a supportive environment.
